26 LIFETECH Medium Pressure UV systems help to make the experience even better in the most modern waterpark in Poland.

Thanks to twenty-six medium pressure UV systems, visitors of Poland’s new Fabryka Wody waterpark can enjoy healthier water without trichloramine, or as we at LIFETECH call it, “the bad chlorine”. In turn, the waterpark operator can enjoy up to 30% reduction in operating costs, which, thanks to our LifeAGE® technology, we can offer to operators when compared with  other similar medium pressure UV systems on the market.

Up to 4,000 cubic meters of pool water per hour flows through our system, every drop is disinfected with UV radiation. The intensity of the radiation adjusts in real time according to the water quality. The broadband radiation of medium pressure UV also breaks down trichloramine, a form of bound chlorine that we know is the typical chlorine smell in a pool. Trichloramine is a source of major health risks, especially asthma, skin flushing and at higher concentrations can be even carcinogenic. Unfortunately, conventional and commonly used low pressure UV technology does not break down trichloramine and so it remains and accumulates in the water.
